Donnie Boutwell
CEO
After ten years producing records on music row in Nashville, Donnie knows a thing or two about sound. With experience in construction management, and digital music, Donnie came to Media Systems with a desire to create audiophile listening rooms in luxury homes. Today he spends most of his time managing the business and programming Crestron systems. Donnie has a Bachelor's from the University of Houston in Radio and Television Production with a minor in Percussion Performance. Today Donnie specializes in design working with architects, designers, builders and home owners to create systems that bring form and function together.
Jaclyn Boutwell
CFO
With a background in artistic design and professional photography, Jaclyn has an eye for detail. She makes sure that technology blends seamlessly into the visual design of the home. Jaclyn works with homeowners and interior designers to be sure that the technology in the home doesn’t distract from the architectural or design elements. Whether you’re choosing motorized shade fabrics, deciding on lighting fixtures or even have a TV in that space, Jaclyn is the resource that you need. In addition to being a technology designer, she is also our Chief Financial Officer.

Chase Murphy
CTO
Chase has been our friend since 2011 when we started contracting him for Crestron programming on larger projects. Chase is a Gold Crestron Certified Master Programmer and has been Donnie’s programming mentor for years. Since we had already worked with him on so many projects, his transition to full time staff was effortless. Chase excels at communication. His ability to define the scope of work, exceed expectations, and finish the job are a great example to our team.
Brad Kelly
Project Manager
Brad does an amazing job coordinating all the many pieces and components that make up any client's full spec job. From wiring to the final wipe down of the tv screen, he oversees every detail meticulously making everything perfect for your living space.
Steve Driskell
Founder
After working as a home theater designer and installer at Home Entertainment, Steve founded Media Systems in 1980 because he discovered a client base seeking more advanced audio and video systems. He quickly created a niche for himself in Houston and around the world as a pioneer and true visionary of smart home technology. As control system technology developed, Steve integrated cutting edge products for a distinguished client base. Functional automation systems evolved into elegant products that can be enjoyed without really being seen. Steve's demand for efficiency and excellence continues to be our motivation today.
